Wu Qu belongs to the Metal element and is the sixth star of the Northern Dipper, master of the Wealth Palace, transforming into wealth. It is the most practical of the 14 major stars — governing decisiveness, execution, fortitude, and money. People with Wu Qu in their Life Palace are decisive, results-oriented, and natural doers. The classics say Wu Qu "governs longevity in heaven and wealth in destiny" — a star deeply tied to money. But Wu Qu's wealth is "hard-earned wealth" — won through execution and professional skill, not luck. With Tan Lang (Wu Tan) it means "late bloomer"; with Tian Fu (Wu Fu) the treasury fills; with Qi Sha (Wu Sha) it pioneers with volatility; with Tian Xiang (Wu Xiang) it earns steadily.

Resolute, decisive, reliable, and hardworking — does what it says. Weaknesses: too rigid, poor at flexibility, sometimes stern and impersonal. Bends but does not break — until it breaks.
